Jude Genzel is an independent English-language publication about travel and hotels. We write practical guides for people who plan their own trips: hikers, city breakers, families, couples and anyone trying to decide whether a hotel upgrade or an all-inclusive package is actually worth the money.
Our work is organised into five sections: Adventure Travel, Luxury Hotels, Budget Travel, Travel Guides, and Resorts & Villas. Each section has a clear scope, and every article is written to answer a decision rather than to fill a page.
We research routes, rates and policies from primary sources: transport operators, official tourism boards, hotel rate sheets, insurance documents and recent traveller reports. We distinguish clearly between what is measured, what is estimated and what is opinion. Prices change, so we tell readers what to verify before they book.
We do not sell hotel placements, accept payment for positive coverage or rank properties by commission. When we recommend something, it is because the evidence supports it for a described type of traveller.
Our contributors are writers and researchers with experience in outdoor travel, hospitality, consumer research and trip planning. We are not a booking agency and we do not handle reservations.
